This page explains cookies and browser storage used by the current LOOP guide. You do not need to accept advertising or analytics cookies to read it.

Cookies versus local storage

Cookies are small values that a browser can send with requests. Local storage keeps values in your browser and does not automatically send them with each request. LOOP's own page code sets no cookies and includes no analytics or advertising trackers.

The one preference we can save

• Name: loop.cookie-notice.v1
• Type: local storage on this site's origin.
• Value: seen, saved only when you select “Got it.”
• Purpose: remember that you have seen the notice.
• Duration: until you reset it, clear the site's browser data, or your browser removes it. It has no automatic expiry.

“Close without saving” dismisses the banner for the current page view without writing this preference. If browser storage is unavailable, the guide still works and the notice may appear again.

Manage the notice

Reopen the cookie notice or delete the saved acknowledgment. You can also remove it through your browser's site-data controls. Resetting this preference does not clear hosting-provider cookies.

Hosting and external services

ChatGPT Sites may use separate cookies or similar technologies for access and operation. This page's controls do not manage those technologies; see OpenAI's Cookie Policy for provider controls. Google Fonts and the externally hosted photo load when you visit the page, independently of the notice acknowledgment. Their requests are explained in our Privacy Policy.

No blanket consent

“Got it” only saves the acknowledgment described above. It does not turn on marketing, authorize unrelated tracking, or change your preferences on another website.
